About
The Peaceful Futures Scholarship supports Indian students of all study levels who are working on projects or research that address youth violence and its root causes. Funded by Peaceful Futures, this scholarship aims to empower young leaders to create safer communities through innovative solutions. By centering youth perspectives, it seeks to develop long-term strategies that reduce violence and promote peace in schools, neighborhoods, and public spaces across India.
Eligibility
Open to Indian students enrolled in any recognized school, college, or university program. Applicants must be between 16 and 30 years old and demonstrate a commitment to violence prevention through academic work, community initiatives, or advocacy. Priority may be given to candidates from marginalized or underrepresented backgrounds, including SC, ST, OBC, EBC, EWS, PwD, and DNT categories.

Visit the official Peaceful Futures Scholarship page listed on the One Young World website to download the application form. Prepare a 500-word proposal outlining your project, research, or initiative focused on reducing youth violence.
