About
The Young Achievers Scholarship and Holistic Academic Skills Venture Initiative (YASHASVI) is a government scholarship that supports students who have secured admission to the first year of a degree or diploma program at any AICTE‑approved institution. The scheme aims to strengthen academic foundations and provide a modest financial boost of Rs 18,000 per eligible student. Applicants must follow the guidelines issued by AICTE, which are available on the official scheme document. The award is disbursed directly to the student after verification by the institution’s scholarship cell. The scholarship also encourages participation in skill‑development workshops organized by Young Achievers during the academic year.
Eligibility
Any student admitted to the first year of a degree or diploma course at an AICTE‑approved college or university can apply. The scheme does not impose caste, gender, disability, or income restrictions, and there is no minimum grade requirement beyond enrollment. Eligibility is limited to Indian nationals pursuing regular full‑time studies.
How to apply
Visit the AICTE YASHASVI scheme page and download the application form. Fill in personal, academic and bank details, and attach a copy of the admission letter, latest mark sheet and identity proof. Submit the completed form to the scholarship cell of your institution, which will verify the data and forward it to Young Achievers for disbursement.
